Entrepreneurship And The Economic And Social Development
INTRODUCTION In recent decades, it has become clear the importance of the entrepreneurial phenomenon in the economic and social development of the regions involved in its creation, and their contribution to mitigate the problems of unemployment, and the improvement of competitiveness within the productive sectors. Consequently, from the political, business and academic fields it has been a growing interest towards entrepreneurship, and especially for everything that contributes to promoting and encouraging the creation of new businesses. The study of organizations is an activity that has evolved in sync with its changes. Within this research analysis, it is important to find out the motivations that the individual who creates the organization, which is called entrepreneurship, has to start a business on his own. Several studies and proposals related to the topic have been developed, however the investigations carried out so far have failed to clearly describe the phenomenon. This research arises from the interest to identify the motivations and attitudes of students towards entrepreneurship and the interest to gestate a business project and turn it into an organization that contributes to the economic progress of their environment.
